We have always called animals bejubaan — the voiceless. But what if that is entirely wrong?
What if your pet has been communicating with you constantly — through feelings, through energy, through the quiet language of emotions — and the only gap has been your awareness?

This is the foundation of Annapoorna Kumar’s extraordinary work. A Telepathic Animal Communicator and Aura Healer, Annapoorna sat down with HJ Show for one of the most unique and deeply moving conversations the podcast has ever hosted.
What is Telepathic Animal Communication?
Telepathic animal communication is the ability to connect with an animal’s energy and receive information through your five senses — not through words, but through feelings, visuals, smells, tastes and physical sensations.
The word telepathy itself comes from two Greek roots. Tele means distance. Pathy means emotions and feelings. Together it means — understanding feelings across any distance.
Just as a telephone carries your voice across miles, telepathic communication carries emotion and intention across any physical barrier. Distance is irrelevant. Even if your pet is in another city — or has passed away — connection is possible.
And this is not a superpower reserved for a gifted few. As Annapoorna firmly believes, every human being is born with intuitive ability. It simply needs to be developed and practiced.
How Does a Session Actually Work?
The process begins with intention. You decide clearly which animal you wish to connect with. Then comes grounding — a practice of quieting the constant noise of the mind to create space for reception.
Once grounded, you connect with the animal’s energy — much like tuning a radio to the right frequency. You ask questions and receive responses through your own senses. A visual of where the animal is. A sensation in your body that mirrors their physical pain. A feeling that tells you they are hungry, scared or content.
The communicator does not interpret or filter — they simply relay what is received, exactly as it comes.
The Lost Husky — A Case That Speaks for Itself
One of the most powerful stories Annapoorna shares involves a three-year-old female Husky who went missing after her family had recently moved to a new area. The gate had been left open by a watchman and she had wandered out into unfamiliar territory.
During a live Zoom session with the distressed family, Annapoorna communicated with the Husky. She described a nearby medical store, a cross-road, a row of lorries — specific visual landmarks the dog was seeing. She also revealed that two boys on a bike had been making the dog run, chasing her for sport.
The family ended their call, went directly to the area described, checked CCTV footage of nearby shops — and found exactly what had been described. They eventually found the Husky exhausted and thirsty, resting under a white car — which the dog had also mentioned.
She came home that day.
Soul Contracts — Why Your Pet Chose You
Perhaps the most profound concept Annapoorna introduces is the soul contract. According to her understanding, no pet enters your life randomly. On a soul level, a contract is made — the animal agrees to show up in your life at precisely the moment you need them most.
They come with a purpose. To heal. To protect. To guide. To teach patience. To offer companionship during loneliness. To love unconditionally when no one else does.
Every member of a household may have a different soul contract with the same pet. The animal serves each person according to what they need most.
And when that contract is complete — whether the pet leaves the home, is rehomed or passes away — it is not a failure. It is a completion.
Mirroring — Your Pet is Showing You Yourself
One of the most immediately practical insights from this conversation is the concept of mirroring. Pets do not just react to your mood — they deliberately reflect it back to you.
If there is stress in the home, the pet becomes restless. If there is unresolved anxiety, the pet may develop behavioural issues. If someone in the household is suppressing grief, the pet may become withdrawn.
This is not coincidence. It is part of their soul purpose — to show their humans what needs to be addressed within themselves. As Annapoorna puts it simply: it is never about fixing the animal. It is always about helping the human.
Animals and Tragedy — Do They Know?
The most extraordinary story Annapoorna shares involves a 13-year-old dog whose family had planned a trip to the Kumbh Mela. The dog kept sending one repeated message during a communication session — spend more time with Dad. The message made no immediate sense to the family.
Within a week of that session, the father passed away suddenly from a severe heart attack.
Later, in a post-death communication session, the dog revealed something even more striking. He had chosen the timing of his own passing — the day before the family was to leave for Kumbh Mela — knowing that their grief would cancel the trip. He was right. The family stayed home.
On the very day they would have been at Kumbh Mela, the stampede occurred.
What Animals Teach Us
Beyond the extraordinary stories, Annapoorna distills what animals fundamentally teach through their presence.
Live in the present moment. Animals do not carry the past or worry about the future. They exist fully in now — and they invite us to do the same.
Love without conditions. The highest level of consciousness, according to David Hawkins’ map of consciousness, is unconditional love. Animals, Annapoorna says, have already mastered it.
Never hold grudges. Never seek revenge. Communicate honestly. And find joy in the simplest, most repeated moments of life.
A Final Note for Every Pet Parent
If you have a pet — or have ever loved one — this episode will change the way you see that relationship entirely.
Your pet is not just a companion. They are a healer, a guide, a mirror and a messenger. And they have more to say than you may have ever imagined.
